02/06/2011 - Philip Parker celebrates his retirement

The team at F.S.Mackenzie would like to announce the retirement of Philip Parker, an F.S.Mackenzie UK company director and partner.

Philip has spent more than forty-five years working in the shipping and freight forwarding business and has, for the past twenty-five years, worked alongside key F.S.Mackenzie employees. His unsurpassed leadership skills were instrumental to the successful integration of the current management team when they took over F.S.Mackenzie twelve years ago.  

Philip is perhaps best known for his exceptional knowledge of the shipping industry, for his integrity, his management skills and for his great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed not only by the F.S.Mackenzie team but also by those in the UK freight forwarding industry.

Philip’s leaving party was held on the 30^th May 2011, pictured below, where the management team and F.S.Mackenzie employees had the opportunity to thank him for his years of service.

The entire F.S.Mackenzie team would like to wish Phil the best of luck, success and good health for many years to come.

Philip will always be a valued member of the F.S.Mackenzie family.
