FELIXSTOWE & HARWICH RORO INFRASTRUCTURE CHARGE
A change in infrastructure charge to be introduced at the Ports of Felixstowe and Harwich from the 1st July 2025. This will now be a blanket charge for all RoRo traffic for full loads. The charge will apply regardless of whether an import RoRo unit is selected for examination or not.
The RoRo Infrastructure Charge (RIC) will be charged to all laden import units, which includes semi-trailers, rigid trailers, road-trains, containers on MAFI’s, flat racks and large plant (to include other wheeled cargo). There will be no charge made for empty equipment restituted to the UK.
Please note that an additional charge will be added to any clearances made at these ports. A small admin charge will be made by us to cover the administration required to manage the costs.
